Mia lit up the lives of so many people all around the world. Of course, she would want us to carry on in celebration of her life, and our own lives—not in mourning. Many of us have already been raising celebratory toasts to her. I've been thinking how powerful it would be for all of Mia's friends and family worldwide to raise a toast together, synchronously.
Let's do it on 21 September 2009, which is the United Nations' International Day of Peace. Glasses will be raised at 18:30 EDT (local time in New York City).
